How It Works
- Clip the adapter onto the Shark 6 front centre AC vent and close all other vents.
- Route the duct through the cabin to the rear window blanking panel.
- Connect to your tent or swag vent adapter and run cabin AC using Camp Mode.

Weather Sealing
The rear window blanking panel includes an integrated seal, designed to help keep the cabin dry in wet camping conditions.
Important use notes
- Cooling performance depends on ambient temperature, tent size, fan speed and AC settings.
- The petrol engine does not need to be running on the Shark 6, but the vehicle climate system must be on.
- This kit is a ducting interface, not a standalone refrigeration unit.
FAQ Section
Q: Will this fit all BYD Shark 6 models?
A: This product is designed for the BYD Shark 6 platform only. If your vehicle has non-standard interior modifications around the front center vent or rear window area, contact us before purchase.
Q: Does the engine need to be running?
A: No. The Shark 6 uses an electric AC compressor, so the petrol engine does not need to be running. The climate/AC system must be on to supply cooled air. Runtime depends on battery state of charge and settings.
Q: How long will the aircon run for?
A: In our testing at 24°C cabin target, cooling ran approximately 15 hours using ~45% battery (70%→25% SOC). Results vary with ambient temperature, tent size, fan speed and AC settings.
